At Privacy Electronics, we are here to help the customer. We want your shopping experience to be fast, easy, smooth, and enjoyable. That is why we have outlined our return process for you here. We are always there to help the customer, and we’ll go above and beyond to suit your unique needs.
Due to the nature of our business and some of our products, all sales are final. There are no refunds. However, all products come with a 90-day protection plan for any products that may not be functioning properly. We have outlined the return process in 4 easy steps to help. Simply follow these easy instructions to make sure your product is returned promptly and efficiently.

Returns will only be accepted with an RMA #. Any items returned without an RMA # will be refused.
PRIVACY ELECTRONICS RETURN GUIDELINES
Please be sure to save all original packaging and included accessories for any item that is returned to Privacy Electronics. All components, including equipment, accessories, manuals, cables, and documents, must be returned along with the purchased product before we can begin to process your RMA. This allows us to fully test your equipment to better resolve the RMA with replacement with a new or like new product. Any defective products that have been returned for replacement or repair are processed under Privacy Electronics’ discretion. The only exception is when we are required by law. There are certain products which must be returned within a specified time limit to be processed for an exchange or store credit. If a product such as this one is returned outside the parameter of those constraints, then you will not be entitled to an exchange or store credit. All products sold by Privacy Electronics fall under our store’s Policy and Agreement. A product that has been subject to physical damage cannot be returned for an exchange or store credit.
RMA REPLACEMENT
If a product is sold to you damaged, altered, or defective, return it to us within 30 days of the original purchase date for an exchange of the same product. Please remember that all materials that were included in the original packaging for the product must also be returned in order to for the return to be processed. The product must also be in original, new condition.

RMAs expire 10 days from the issue date.
When you send your items, make sure that they are well-packed and sent in a shipping box with an RMA clearly attached to the outside so that it may be viewed by our shipping department. Without an RMA, your shipment will be refused, and therefore not processed.
Please make sure to return your product with ALL accessories included in the original packaging. Also, please pack all items to prevent damage and to keep the product in its original condition. It is also our professional recommendation that you insure your packages to prevent any damage in transit to our shipping department. This is also an added measure to prevent loss with our carriers.
For your personal protection, make sure to DELETE ALL PERSONAL DATA on products with SD cards, mini/micro SDs, and any kind of internal memory. Privacy Electronics will not be held responsible for your personal data remaining in or on a product.
SHIPPING REFUNDS
Shipping and handling fees will not be refunded for any product which you are returning in an RMA request or for repair/replacement. After 30 days of product purchase date, customer is responsible for shipping charges to and from Privacy Electronics.
WARRANTY EXCHANGES/DEFECTIVE RETURNS
For your convenience, all products sold by Privacy Electronics come standard with our 90-day protection plan. We will replace or repair a product if it ceases to function properly within 90 days of the delivery date. To notify us of a defective or damaged product, contact us at 1-866-904-8850. In many cases, we can resolve the product issue over the phone. If not, it can be sent back to us for repair or replacement with a new or like new product.
90-DAY PROTECTION PLAN
All of our video products, except for custom-built or modified products, fall under our complete 90-day protection plan. If your product or products is found to be defective due to manufacturer error, we will repair or replace the product for you. If a product ceases to function properly within the first 30 days, we will cover the cost of shipping. After this period, however, it is once again the responsibility of the customer to cover the shipping costs for sending the product back to Privacy Electronics.
PROMOTIONAL CODE & GIFT CARD RETURNS
Digital Coupons must be used prior to their noted expiration date and within a single transaction. Lost, stolen, or deleted coupons cannot be refunded. Also, you will not receive a refund if you cancel or return your purchase with a gift card or coupon. In the event of a reduction in price below the coupon value, the excess value of the coupon will not be refunded.
In the event the total purchase amount exceeds the value of the card, you must pay for the difference using either another gift card/coupon card or a credit or debit card to pay the difference. Gift cards expire 12 months (365 days) after the issue date. Any amount charged to a credit or debit card will be treated as set forth above. In the event of a partial return of an order using both a gift card and a credit or debit card, returned amounts shall first be credited to the credit or debit card, and any remaining balance will be credited back to the gift card.
PRODUCT INSPECTION AND TESTING
Any and all returned products are subject to a rigorous inspection and testing procedure. Privacy Electronics believes that it takes nothing less than the highest quality of work performance to keep your business your business. Please allow us up to 15 business days after the return of the product to complete the product testing. Please note that if a product is claimed to be defective, yet our testing shows it to be in proper working order, the product will be returned to you. If you are involved in a case such as this, you will be held accountable for the shipping costs to and from Privacy Electronics.
