Shipping rates have several variables, including, but not limited to: package dimensions (height, weight, width, length, depth), and delivery site.

DELIVERY SIGNATURE POLICY

A signature is required upon the delivery of any and all products. If you know ahead of time that you will not be available to sign for the product, it is your responsibility to contact the carrier directly and inform them as soon as possible. Be sure to provide them with your product’s tracking number so that the carrier can have a local store hold your product until you can pick it up at a convenient time.

If you believe that your product has been damaged during shipping or upon delivery, please note “DAMAGED” along with your signature and contact us as soon as possible. You can also refuse delivery; should you refuse delivery, contact us immediately. Once the product has been signed for, it becomes customer responsibility.

IF SHIPPING ADDRESS IS DIFFERENT THAN BILLING ADDRESS

At Privacy Electronics, we keep your business your business. For your protection, we reserve the right to hold an order for verification purposes if we see a difference between the given shipping and billing addresses. If the shipping and billing addresses are different, you must call your credit or debit card provider to place the shipping address as a viable secondary address. Once this is done, let us know so we may ship your product.

Also, we reserve the right to verify any address, whether it is shipping or billing, that is given to us. This is an additional precautionary and preventative measure to reduce the chances of a credit or debit card fraud. Since we deal in privacy, Privacy Electronics wants to make sure that your personal and financial information is kept and secure. All of the information you give us is STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL, and it will never be misused by any of our staff.

If during our verification we find that a person or persons has been committing any kind of fraudulent activity, that guilty party will prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Fraudulent activity is a federal crime. Both the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the United States Secret Service are responsible for the investigation of internet fraud cases. We take every step and precaution we can to ensure that you and your information, both personal and financial, are kept private, safe, and secure. We reserve the right to verify any of the information which is given to us by any client or customer.

ORDER PROCESSING

Most orders are shipped form us with 24-48 hours of processing via UPS or USPS Ground (3 to 7 days). This will allow all products to be tracked in case of damage or loss of product. If you would like your product to be shipped to you faster, you may select this option when placing the order. Please keep in mind that UPS does not pickup or deliver on weekends or holidays, though USPS does deliver on Saturdays. UPS does offer a Saturday Delivery, but this is an exception service which will come at an extra fee.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

We do not currently offer international shipping.

DISCREET SHIPPING

We understand that due to the nature of some of our products, you may want to purchase your product discreetly. For that reason, it is the professional recommendation of Privacy Electronics that you go to a local drugstore (CVS, DuaneReade) and purchase a Visa or MasterCard gift card and then proceed to use it to complete your purchase. By using this method, you can ensure both your billing privacy and the security of Privacy Electronics.

In addition to billing privacy, all of our packages are sent in unmarked, discreet boxes to protect your privacy. If you are uncomfortable receiving products directly to you, you have the additional option of having your package sent to a UPS store in your local area. (Please keep in mind that UPS may charge a holding fee, but it is often a small fee, rarely going over than a few dollars. Also, you will be asked to provide a form of government ID to verify your information upon pickup of your item) 

It is also the recommendation of Privacy Electronics that you take the extra precaution in creating a secure email account if you wish to maintain a certain degree of email privacy. The price of having a UPS store hold your product may vary depending on the size of the product, fragility, and other factors. However, rest assured that it is a very cost-effective method of getting your product, rarely costing more than a few dollars.

How long until I can pick up my package from my local UPS store?

Most orders placed before 5 pm will be shipped out that same day, and will take only 3 to 5 business days to arrive at the UPS store of your choice.

Will I be notified when my package is ready to be picked up?

Yes. As with any purchase, you will receive an email notification detailing when your product has been shipped out as well as a tracking number from UPS.
